Let’s go over the basics…
STEP ONE- FIND YOUR LENDER
The first step is finding your lender or financial institution! They will help determine your max budget , your route for financing as well as prepare a pre-qualification or pre-approval letter to include with any offer we submit! Let me know if you need a referral.
STEP TWO- FIND THE HOUSE
So you’ve completed step 1, now it’s time to begin our search! This is my favorite part! What are your “must haves?” Where do you spend the most time? How far are you willing to travel to and from work? All of these questions (& many more) need to be answered prior to writing an offer.
STEP THREE- INSPECTION/APPRAISAL
We’ve found the one, BUT you want to be sure you’re making the right investment! An inspection helps determine the home’s current condition and an appraisal helps estimate the overall value of the property. This is an important part of the buying process. We will discuss this in more detail when the time comes.
STEP FOUR- CLOSING
You’ve jumped through all the hurtles and you’ve made it to CLOSING DAY! Congratulations!!! Sit back, relax and get ready to become a homeowner!
