Bathroom Goals

When designer Emily Riddle contacted Chris about a custom master bathroom remodel, he was ecstatic to say the least. Emily, owner of Gathered Living, has built an incredible reputation for herself throughout Central Kentucky as a unique, interior designer with an eye for home décor and women’s fashion (previously known as Miss Molly Vintage). In opening her new store, The Amsden in Downtown Versailles, KY, Emily has had great success in launching her design/remodel services! This master bathroom she designed is truly one-of-a-kind, and Chris was undoubtedly the man for the job! See below for the starting point…

Emily worked to create a custom design plan that fit both her client’s style and budget. When the plans were presented to Chris, he was over the moon with their final selections! Sleek, white subway tile for the walls, and a larger black hex tile for the floor. Emily also incorporated her client’s dream: a walnut double vanity topped with white quartz and wall-mount faucets! The wooden vanity adds the perfect, warm contract against the tile. Can you say, DREAMY?!

When it came to the shower, only one word comes to mind… CUSTOM!

This shower was 100% customized by both Emily and her clients. One request within the design was this bench! Check out how the tile flows directly up from the floor. Such a work of art by Chris! Great job, babe!

Another shower highlight is its curbless feature! Clients are now able to walk directly into their shower without lifting a foot! Emily also had the idea of building a half wall topped with custom glass. This would allow the bathroom to feel even more open and airy.

Also- can we take a moment to admire Emily’s insane decorating skills? I mean, wow! Talk about #bathroomgoals! Huge shoutout to Sarah E. Dunn Photo + Design for the amazing “after” photos! Truly stunning! Scroll down and see for yourself…
